Relationships

The final key part of the model is the relationship. This shows how different entities are connected. For example, a Customer can place many Orders, which creates a relationship between those two entities. Think of relationships as the threads that weave your information model together. Without them, you’d just have isolated pieces of data. By defining relationships, you capture how your business works, like connecting a customer’s purchase history to their profile.

Relationships are somewhat different in Daana compared to a normal ER-Diagram, just like a Graph model, in Daana relationships have names and you actually have many different types of relationships between two entities. For instance an "Order" can both be "PLACED BY" and "RETURNED BY" a "Customer"

In Daana, the information model becomes the foundation for organizing and transforming your data, making sure that everything is connected logically and meaningfully.
