Connections

A Connection in Daana is supposed to be a connection to your staging layer (or lake), i.e. the place where you have gathered all of your "raw" data from your various systems. Typically this can in cloud environments be Google Clouds Big Query, Snowflake or similar. Right now, Daana supports:

• Big Query

• Snowflake

• PostgresSQL (on prem or cloud)

• MSSQL (on prem or cloud)

When you later (after you have modelled and mapped data) deploy, this is also the place where Daana will send instructions on how to build the Data Pipelines and later executes them. Daana will create several schemas/datasets where you'll find your transformed DWH data.
