Using the data dictionary

The Data Dictionary comes in two forms: the full dictionary view and the quick dictionary.

Full Dictionary View

The full dictionary view can be accessed using the link appearing as a book icon in the navigation bar. Clicking this link will navigate you to the full dictionary workspace.

In the full dictionary workspace:

• Your models will be displayed in a tree view on the left.

• Navigate your models by expanding the headers.

• Depending on the type of entry you open, the right-hand workspace will display relevant information and options, including technical definitions and descriptions of the entry.

Quick Dictionary

The quick dictionary will open as an overlay over your current view. This allows you to get a quick overview of your various models without leaving your current workspace. The quick dictionary is useful for quick lookups and minor edits.

By using these two views, you can efficiently manage and reference your data dictionary as needed.
